About
The Dyer

Hi! I'm Brea, owner and dyer of Brediculous Yarns. I would be lying if I said yarn dyeing was my original career choice but here we are! Going for my BA in college, I discovered the beauty of hand dyed yarn. From there I evolved from buying to making hand dyed yarn. I have been dyeing yarn ever since. I started off in my living room and now moved down stairs in the basement with a lot more space to create more colors! If I’m not dyeing yarn, or knitting a project, I am most likely using the rest of my time playing softball. Most of my weekends, during the warm weather, involves me playing in tournaments

The (Retired) Trusty Companion

Contrary to the stereotype, she is one lucky cat. And yes! Her name is also Lucky. She used to help me get your orders out the door and keeps me in check so that I don't fall behind on things. She was a stray outside at 6 months old. She was skin and bones and I knew she had to be mine. Slowly but surely she came into our home. I can't tell if I saved her or she saved me. As me and my dad would say, "She is one Lucky cat." Now she is retired and lounging around with my Dad enjoying her long naps and cuddles on the couch

Penny
Penny Pickles keeps an eye on all the yarn drying outside ... and that's about all she does! She keeps me company on the couch while knitting, especially if the heated blanket is there. She is a love bug full of attitude!

CB
Short for Cartoon Butt, CB came into our lives unexpectedly. One Tuesday October Josh and I were driving down the street heading towards our softball game. When out of the blue we saw a dog carrier sitting on the side of the road. We both looked at each and we felt like something wasn't right. So we turned around and sure enough this little girl was in there, scared and alone. Without hesitation we took her in. She was scared, confused, and constantly in attack mode. I worked with her day in and day out to gain her trust. Let me tell you it was not easy. There was a lot of scratching, biting, hissing, scaring, etc. But I never gave up. It may have took over a year to gain her trust but she has became one of the most loving things in the world! She isn't a fan of her sister or other cats so much but slow progress has been made! Now she watches over me and makes sure I take good photos, inventory checks, and order go out in a timely manner.
